    Agrees. How can we know it is still running? & also the percentage of the backup? Any email status to be sent once backup completes?

    But, the last kill -9 PID command would kill the onapp_daemon_ctl, which means that the queue handling is stopped.

    Here is a query for more recent OnApp versions:

    select l.id as "Log ID",h.ip_address,t.parent_id as "Backup ID",b.identifier as "Backup",v.identifier as "VM",t.pid as "Daemon PID" from log_items l join transactions t on l.target_id=t.id join backups b on t.parent_id=b.id join disks d on b.target_id=d.id join virtual_machines v on d.virtual_machine_id=v.id join hypervisors h on v.hypervisor_id=h.id where t.action="take_backup" and t.status="running";

    Running version 3.2.2 with incremental backups, I needed to modify the query.... [ b.target_id=d.id ] needed to be [ target_id=d.virtual_machine_id ] and [ t.action="take_backup" ] needed to be [ t.action="take_incremental_backup" ] as such:

    select l.id as "Log ID",h.ip_address,t.parent_id as "Backup ID",b.identifier as "Backup",v.identifier as "VM",t.pid as "Daemon PID" from log_items l join transactions t on l.target_id=t.id join backups b on t.parent_id=b.id join disks d on b.target_id=d.virtual_machine_id join virtual_machines v on d.virtual_machine_id=v.id join hypervisors h on v.hypervisor_id=h.id where t.action="take_incremental_backup" and t.status="running" ;
